I chose this chapter for a few reasons. First I think it encapsulates a lot of the chapters and information from this section within itself. There is very good foreshadowing about the danger to come not to mention it talks of horrible creatures to the north and the walls shabby and inadequate state. Also when the wall draws Tyrion up for one last look he finds Jon Snow and begins a intriguing conversation that emphasizes the change in Jon from when he first got there. Tyrion is being used by many people for favors but very uncharacteristically agrees to do them all, even though they are quite a hassle for him. It seems that in this chapter the wall changes people. Its way of life is something new and different for all. Last this chapter provides a certain cohesion of a few loose ends that are wrapped up in one go; the danger from the North, the magic of the wall, Jons life included his growth and hopes.

Blog 2 Tyrion (203-214)
This Chapter starts with Tyrion eating dinner with the Jeor Mormont, Thorne and the other teachers and higher ranking men at Castle Black. Tyrion makes fun of Thorne and causes him to leave which then turns into Mormont essentially begging Tyrion to use his influence to find more men for the wall and talks of danger coming from the North. Tyrion promises to do so whether it would work or not and sets off back to bed until he is mesmerized by the wall and decides he needs one more look. At the top he finds Jon Snow and they talk of how he is doing. Last in the chapter Jon asks Tyrion to help his brother and Bran the way he helped Jon. This touches Tyrion and he agrees, making Jon and Tyrion friends.

Good analysis. Definitely a key chapter mostly because off the character development. Keep this tight focus and you should be fine.
